What you can actually claim
The two big ones for South Australian and border-Victorian homes right now:
- Federal solar rebate (STCs) A discount on the up-front cost of a new solar system, based on its size and your location. We apply it directly to your quote.
- Cheaper Home Batteries program A federal discount on the cost of an eligible home battery, making storage far more affordable than it was a year ago.
- One quote, no surprises We combine what you qualify for into a single fixed price, so there is nothing to chase after the job.
Who qualifies
Most homes qualify, and we confirm it before you sign
Eligibility is simpler than people expect, but the details decide how much comes off your price. Broadly, the solar rebate scales with system size and steps down each year as the scheme winds toward its 2030 end date, so the same system attracts a little less rebate every January. The battery rebate applies to eligible batteries installed with accredited equipment by accredited installers, which is exactly how we work. Here is what we check for you on every quote:
- Your system and gear Panels, inverters and batteries must be on the approved lists. Everything we install is.
- Accredited installation The rebate requires an SAA-accredited installer. We are one, so this box ticks itself.
- New and existing homes Owner-occupied, rentals and new builds can all qualify, for solar and for storage.
- Adding to existing solar The battery rebate can apply to storage retro-fitted to a system you already own.
